Enough of the somber tone for the moment, although yes I probably will go back to it! Hey, I am in a mid-life crisis!...oh, sorry guys..trying to have a sense of humor..that probably fell flat like a lead balloon (one of my mother's favorite statements)..anywho...

1. I cannot ice skate. I tried ice skating once when I was 13 at NYC's Wollman rink (this was 9 million years ago, and it was probably renamed, or maybe it wasn't) and spent virtually the entire time on my behind...thus, while I can ass skate, I cannot ice skate. period.

2. I tried horseback riding once. Only once. I was on the dumbest horse in the world, which thus made me the dumbest rider. When my friend Ginger told me to whack the horse on its behind and then dig my spurs into its side, it took off like a damn wild banshee, with me CLINGING to it and riding sideways. I eventually was able to master it but could not walk for a day. I was so sore.

NOTE: THERE IS A THEME HERE. I AM AN ATHLETIC CLOD. 

3. I have absolutely no desire to EVER be a passenger on the following: a helicopter, or a small plane. I am terrified of heights, although I will fly if we are travelling, but unhappily.

4. I cannot stand fast rides like roller coasters and things like that. I tried it once in DisneyLand in California with my first husband. It was the runaway train ride...we were in the last car. Everyone is screaming! Everyone is waving! Everyone is having a blast..except me. I was terrified. After my heart settled out of my mouth, and we got off the damn thing, I promptly burst into tears. I was 32. 3 year olds were having more fun than me. NOTE: I WILL NEVER RIDE SPACE MOUNTAIN, NOR WILL I RIDE THE HAUNTED HOTEL TERROR DROP IN DISNEYWORLD. DON'T EVEN ASK. Dream would do it. Me? NEVER.

5. I have had the hots for Daniel Day Lewis since he was in the movie "The Last of the Mohicans". Why he married Rebecca Miller and not ME is beyond me. I don't like his hair short, however. Wait, I also really like the guy on ER who plays Dr. Kovacs...Goran Visnjik. swooooooooooooooooooooooooooon

6. I wanted to be a rock star...a happy lusty Janis Joplin, as opposed to the drug addict she was. She was amazing...OR I wanted to be the female version of Jimmy Page in Led Zeppelin.

7. I LOVE TO DANCE
